A simple recipe for chocolate cream cheesecake

★Ingredients

1/4 cup melted butter

1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs

3 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened

1 cup sugar

3 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup heavy cream

1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

★Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Mix chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter in a bowl until evenly combined. Press mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.

In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave or over a double boiler, then stir into the cream cheese mixture until fully incorporated.

Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust in the springform pan. Smooth the top with a spatula. Bake in preheated oven for 45 to 50 minutes, or until set. Allow to cool completely before refrigerating for at least 4 hours or overnight.

Before serving, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Spread whipped cream over the top of the cheesecake. Optionally, you can garnish with chocolate shavings or drizzle with melted chocolate. Enjoy your decadent chocolate cheesecake with cream!
