Canoncini recipe stuffed with Italian cream

★Ingredients

30 grams of all-purpose flour

3 egg yolks

100 grams of sugar

240 ml of whole milk

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

★Instructions

Mix 3 egg yolks with 100 grams of sugar until the mixture is light and creamy.

Add 30 grams of flour and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and continue to beat until the ingredients are well combined.

Heat 240 ml of whole milk over medium heat until it’s hot but not boiling.

Slowly add the hot milk to the egg and sugar mixture while stirring continuously.

Transfer the mixture to a saucepan over medium heat and continue stirring until it thickens to a creamy consistency.

Transfer the cream to a bowl and let it cool completely before using it as a filling for the Cannesini.
