Delicious wontons with French and Vietnamese flavours

★Ingredients

Wonton wrappers

1/2 cup finely chopped mushrooms

1/2 pound ground pork

2 green onions, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fish sauce

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 teaspoon sugar

1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 tablespoon butter

1/2 cup chicken broth

Salt to taste

★Instructions

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and mushrooms, cook until softened.

Add ground pork, breaking it into small pieces. Cook until browned.

Stir in fish sauce, soy sauce, sugar, black pepper, and green onions. Cook for 2-3 minutes.

Remove from heat and stir in cilantro. Let the mixture cool slightly.

Place a spoonful of the pork mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper. Moisten the edges with water and fold in half to form a triangle. Press edges to seal.

In a separate skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add the wontons in a single layer and cook until golden brown on both sides.

Pour chicken broth into the skillet and simmer until the wontons are cooked through, about 5 minute
