Slow cooker amish beef blanket recipe

★Instructions

Start by removing the membrane from the back of the ribs. This helps the ribs cook more evenly and allows the flavors to penetrate better.

Season the ribs with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic powder.

In a bowl, mix together the BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, and brown sugar.

Pour half of the BBQ sauce mixture into the bottom of the crock pot.

Place the seasoned ribs in the crock pot, standing them up against the walls with the meaty side facing outwards.

Pour the remaining BBQ sauce mixture over the ribs, making sure they are well coated.

Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the ribs are tender and cooked through.

Optional: Finish the ribs on a hot grill or under the broiler for a few minutes to caramelize the BBQ sauce.

Enjoy!
