Garlic Butter Sausage with Lemon Green Beans

★Ingredients

4 Italian sausages

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 lemon, juiced and zested

Salt and pepper to taste

Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

★Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Place the sausages on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring frequently, until fragrant.

While the sausages are baking, bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the green beans and blanch for 2-3 minutes, then drain and set aside.

Add the blanched green beans to the skillet with the garlic butter. Sauté for 2-3 minutes, until the green beans are coated evenly with the garlic butter.

Squeeze the lemon juice over the green beans and sprinkle with lemon zest. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Once the sausages are cooked, slice them into bite-sized pieces and add them to the skillet with the green beans. Toss everything together until heated through.
