4 teaspoons minced ginger
1 pound lean ground beef
1/2 cup soy sauce
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
1 onion, thinly sliced
1 cup shredded carrots
Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
8 ounces noodles (such as udon or spaghetti)
Sesame seeds (for garnish)
★Instructions
Cook noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce and brown sugar until sugar is dissolved.
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add ground beef, ginger, and garlic. Cook until beef is browned and cooked through.
Add sliced onion, bell pepper, and shredded carrots to the skillet. Cook for a few minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
Pour the soy sauce mixture over the beef and vegetables. Stir well to combine and simmer for a few minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Add cooked noodles to the skillet and toss until they are coated in the sauce.
