★Ingredients

4 teaspoons minced ginger

1 pound lean ground beef

1/2 cup soy sauce

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 cup brown sugar

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced

1 onion, thinly sliced

1 cup shredded carrots

Green onions, chopped (for garnish)

8 ounces noodles (such as udon or spaghetti)

Sesame seeds (for garnish)

★Instructions

Cook noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.

In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce and brown sugar until sugar is dissolved.

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add ground beef, ginger, and garlic. Cook until beef is browned and cooked through.

Add sliced onion, bell pepper, and shredded carrots to the skillet. Cook for a few minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.

Pour the soy sauce mixture over the beef and vegetables. Stir well to combine and simmer for a few minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

Add cooked noodles to the skillet and toss until they are coated in the sauce.
