- Add the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
- Add the flour and stir until the batter is just mixed. Do not overmix.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 60 to 65 minutes at 350°F (175°C), or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Remove from the oven and let the bread cool in the pan for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
