Oats and zucchini recipe

★Ingredients

1 cup rolled oats

1 medium zucchini, grated

2 cups water (or milk of choice)

1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)

1 teaspoon cinnamon

Sweetener to taste (honey, maple syrup, or any other preferred sweetener)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

A pinch of salt

Toppings of choice (e.g., fresh fruit, nuts, seeds, or yogurt)

Meat broth with frozen vegetables

Prepare hot fudge brownies

★Instructions

  1. Prepare the Zucchini:
  • Grate the zucchini using a grater. No need to peel it unless you prefer.
  1. Cook the Oats:
  • In a medium saucepan, combine the oats, grated zucchini, water (or milk), chia seeds, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt.
  • Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat.
  1. Simmer the Porridge:
  • Once it starts boiling, reduce the heat to low and let it simmer.
  • Stir occasionally to prevent sticking, cooking until the oats are soft and the mixture has thickened (about 5-7 minutes).
  1. Sweeten:
  • Once the porridge has reached your desired consistency, add sweetener to taste. Stir well to combine.
  1. Serve:
  • Spoon the porridge into bowls and add your favorite toppings. Fresh fruit, nuts, seeds, or a dollop of yogurt can add extra flavor and nutrition.
