Corn in a Honey Butter Skillet

★Ingredients

4 cups fresh or frozen corn kernels (about 6 ears of corn)

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

1/4 teaspoon salt (or to taste)

2 tablespoons honey

1/4 teaspoon black pepper (or to taste)

1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Pesto Chicken Lasagna

Old time oven peach cobbler

★Instructions

  1. Prepare the Corn: If using fresh corn, shuck the ears and cut the kernels off the cob. If using frozen corn, thaw and drain it.
  2. Melt the Butter: In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  3. Add the Corn: Add the corn kernels to the skillet and cook, stirring occasionally, until the corn is tender and starts to brown slightly, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add Honey and Seasonings: Drizzle the honey over the corn and stir to combine. Season with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika (if using).
  5. Cook Until Caramelized: Continue cooking for another 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently, until the honey butter mixture slightly caramelizes and coats the corn evenly.
  6. Serve: Remove from heat and transfer to a serving dish. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired.

Enjoy!
