Baked Potatoes Recipe

★Ingredients

2 tablespoons olive oil

4 large russet potatoes

Sea salt

Optional toppings: butter, sour cream, chives, shredded cheese, bacon bits, etc.

★Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven:
    Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare Potatoes:
  • Scrub the potatoes thoroughly under running water to remove any dirt.
  • Dry the potatoes with a clean towel.
  • Using a fork, pierce each potato several times all over. This allows steam to escape during baking.
  1. Season Potatoes:
  • Rub each potato with a little olive oil.
  • Sprinkle sea salt evenly over the potatoes, ensuring they are well-coated.
  1. Bake:
  • Place the potatoes directly on the middle oven rack.
  • Bake for 45-60 minutes, depending on the size of the potatoes. They should be tender when pierced with a fork.

  • Remove the potatoes from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.
  • Slice each potato open lengthwise, fluff the insides with a fork, and add your favorite toppings.
