Honey Garlic Pork Chops

★Ingredients

Salt and pepper to taste

4 pork chops, about 1-inch thick

1/4 cup soy sauce

1/4 cup honey

1/4 cup ketchup

1 tablespoon olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried oregano

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

★Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pork Chops:
  • Season the pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides.
  1. Make the Glaze:
  • In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, honey, ketchup, olive oil, minced garlic, and oregano.
  1. Cook the Pork Chops:
  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add a bit of oil if needed.
  • Sear the pork chops for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned.
  1. Glaze the Pork Chops:
  • Reduce the heat to medium and pour the glaze mixture over the pork chops.
  • Continue cooking, occasionally turning the pork chops and basting them with the sauce, for about 5-7 minutes or until the pork chops are cooked through and the glaze is thickened.
  1. Serve:
  • Transfer the pork chops to a serving plate and drizzle with the remaining glaze from the skillet.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
