RIDICULOUSLY EASY PEACH COBBLER

★Ingredients

1 cup self-rising flour

1 cup milk

1 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick), melted

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 cups fresh or canned peaches (if using canned, drain the syrup)

★Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the batter:
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the self-rising flour and granulated sugar.
  • Add the milk and vanilla extract, and stir until just combined.
  1. Melt the butter:
  • Pour the melted butter into a 9×13-inch baking dish. Make sure the butter is spread evenly over the bottom of the dish.
  1. Add the batter:
  • Pour the batter evenly over the melted butter in the baking dish. Do not stir.
  1. Add the peaches:
  • Evenly distribute the peaches over the batter. Do not stir.
  1. Bake:
  • Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the batter has risen up around the peaches.
  1. Serve:
  • Let the cobbler cool for a few minutes before serving. It’s delicious on its own, or you can serve it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.
