My Amish friend showed me this treat and I couldn’t stop eating it!

★Ingredients

Crust:

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs (or crushed peanuts for added texture)

Filling:

1 cup creamy peanut butter

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup heavy whipping cream

Topping:

Whipped cream or a stabilized whipped topping

★Instructions

  1. Prepare the crust:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs (or crushed peanuts) and sugar. Add the melted butter and mix until well combined.
  • Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish.
  • Bake for 10 minutes, then set aside to cool completely.
  1. Make the filling:
  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and peanut butter together until smooth and creamy.
  • Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, and beat until fully incorporated.
  • In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  • Gently fold the whipped cream into the peanut butter mixture until well combined.
  1. Assemble the pie:
  • Pour the filling into the cooled crust and spread it evenly.
  • Chill the pie in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or until set.

  • Before serving, top the pie with additional whipped cream or a stabilized whipped topping for decoration.
