Lacream with strawberry

★Ingredients

1 tablespoon sugar (adjust to taste)

1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and chopped

1 cup heavy cream

2 tablespoons powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

★Instructions

  1. Prepare the Strawberries:
  • In a bowl, combine the chopped strawberries with 1 tablespoon of sugar. Let them sit for about 15 minutes to macerate and release their juices.
  1. Blend the Strawberries:
  • Using a blender or food processor, blend the strawberries until smooth. You can leave some chunks if you prefer a bit of texture.
  1. Whip the Cream:
  • In a large mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream with an electric mixer on high speed until it starts to thicken.
  • Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, and continue to whip until stiff peaks form.
  1. Combine:
  • Gently fold the blended strawberries into the whipped cream until well combined. Be careful not to overmix; you want to keep the mixture light and airy.
  1. Chill:
  • Transfer the strawberry cream to a serving dish or individual bowls. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Serving Suggestions:

  • Serve the strawberry cream as a topping for cakes, waffles, or pancakes.
  • Enjoy it on its own or with fresh fruit.
