- Preheat and Prep:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan or a loaf pan.
- Mix Dry Ingredients:
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- Cream Butter and Sugar:
- In a large bowl, using an electric mixer, cream the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add Eggs and Flavorings:
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, making sure each one is fully incorporated before adding the next.
- Mix in the vanilla extract and orange zest.
- Combine Wet Ingredients:
- In a small bowl or measuring cup, combine the fresh orange juice and milk.
