Air Fryer Steak Fajitas

★Ingredients

1 lb (450g) skirt steak or flank steak, thinly sliced

1 large red bell pepper, thinly sliced

1 large onion, thinly sliced

2 tbsp olive oil

1 large yellow bell pepper, thinly sliced

1 tsp chili powder

1 tsp ground cumin

1 tsp smoked paprika

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Juice of 1 lime

Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Tortillas (flour or corn), for serving

Vanilla Walnut Cake with Creamy Filling

CRISPY-SKINNED SALMON

★Instructions

  1. Marinate the Steak:
  • In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, chili powder, ground cumin, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes (if using), and lime juice.
  • Add the sliced steak to the bowl and toss to coat evenly with the marinade. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours) in the refrigerator.
  1. Prepare the Vegetables:
  • In a separate bowl, toss the sliced bell peppers and onions with a little olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  1. Preheat the Air Fryer:
  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
  1. Cook the Steak and Vegetables:
  • Place the marinated steak, bell peppers, and onions in the air fryer basket. Try to spread them out in an even layer for better cooking.
  • Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through the cooking time to ensure even cooking. The steak should be cooked to your desired level of doneness and the vegetables should be tender and slightly charred.
  1. Assemble the Fajitas:
  • Warm the tortillas in the air fryer for about 1-2 minutes or in a microwave.
  • Fill each tortilla with the cooked steak, peppers, and onions.
  • Garnish with fresh cilantro and any additional toppings you like (e.g., avocado, sour cream, salsa, cheese).
  1. Serve:
  • Serve the steak fajitas immediately with lime wedges on the side.

Enjoy!
