2 large eggs

★Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cream Butter and Sugars: In a large bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until creamy and smooth.
- Add Eggs: Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this mixture to the butter mixture, beating on low speed until just blended.
- Add Chocolate Chips: Stir in the chocolate chips by hand using a spatula or wooden spoon.
- Scoop Dough: Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake: Bake for 9 to 11 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. The centers may still look slightly underdone, but they will set as the cookies cool.
- Cool: Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely.
