★Ingredients
8 oz (225g) pasta (such as spaghetti or penne)
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cups chicken or vegetable broth (or water)
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional: 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (for some heat)
Fresh parsley or basil for garnish (optional)

★Instructions
- Cook the Pasta:
In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
- Add Broth and Pasta:
Add the pasta to the pot and pour in the chicken or vegetable broth. If you’re using water, you may want to add a pinch of salt.
Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to a simmer. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender and most of the liquid is absorbed, about 10-12 minutes.
- Add Cheese:
Remove the pot from heat. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
If you like a bit of heat, stir in the red pepper flakes.
- Serve:
Garnish with fresh parsley or basil if desired.
Serve immediately.
Enjoy!
