★Ingredients
4 medium potatoes
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Optional toppings: shredded cheese, chopped chives, sour cream
★Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
Wash the potatoes thoroughly and pat them dry with a paper towel.
Slice the potatoes into thin rounds, about 1/4 inch thick.
In a large bowl, toss the potato slices with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder until evenly coated.
Arrange the potato slices in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the potato slices are golden brown and crispy on the edges.
Once baked, you can sprinkle with shredded cheese and return to the oven for a couple of minutes until melted, if desired.
Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Garnish with chopped chives and serve with sour cream on the side, if desired.!
