Bacon cheeseburger bombs

★Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

1/2 cup diced onion

1/2 cup diced pickles

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 can refrigerated biscuit dough

8 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional: ketchup, mustard, or your favorite burger condiments for dipping

★Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and diced onions until the beef is browned and the onions are softened. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Drain any excess grease.

Transfer the cooked beef and onions to a large mixing bowl. Add the diced pickles, shredded cheddar cheese, and crumbled bacon. Stir until well combined.

Open the can of biscuit dough and separate the biscuits. Flatten each biscuit with your hands or a rolling pin until it’s about 1/4 inch thick.

Place a spoonful of the beef and cheese mixture onto the center of each flattened biscuit.

Carefully fold the edges of the biscuit dough up and around the filling, pinching to seal tightly and form a ball. Make sure there are no openings where the filling could escape during baking.

Place the filled biscuit bombs seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each one.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes, or until the biscuit dough is golden brown and cooked through.

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving. Serve with ketchup, mustard, or your favorite burger condiments for dipping.

Enjoy!
