★Ingredients
1 onion, finely chopped
500g minced meat (beef, chicken, turkey, or lamb)
4 eggs
Optional: garlic, herbs (like parsley or thyme), and spices (like paprika or cumin) for extra flavor
Salt and pepper to taste
★Instructions
Heat a tablespoon of oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Add the minced meat to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula, and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
Add the chopped onion and cook until softened and translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
Season the meat mixture with salt, pepper, and any optional spices or herbs you’re using. Stir to combine.
Make wells in the meat mixture with a spoon and crack an egg into each well.
Reduce the heat to low, cover the skillet, and cook until the eggs are set to your liking, about 3-5 minutes for runny yolks or longer for fully cooked yolks.
Once the eggs are cooked, remove the skillet from the heat and let it sit for a minute before serving.
Serve hot, either as is or with bread or rice on the side.
Enjoy!
