This pancake mix recipe

3 tablespoons baking powder

2 teaspoons baking soda

3 tablespoons sugar

1 teaspoon salt

  1. Combine Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar.
  2. Store the Mix: Transfer the mix to an airtight container and store it in a cool, dry place. It should last for several months.

To Make Pancakes

  • 1 cup of pancake mix
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter or oil
  1. Mix Wet and Dry Ingredients: In a bowl, combine 1 cup of the dry pancake mix with the egg, milk, and melted butter or oil. Stir until just combined; the batter will be slightly lumpy.
  2. Cook the Pancakes: Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium-high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form and the edges are set, then flip and cook until golden brown on the other side.
