Casserole Rolls Cheesecake

★Ingredients

For the Crust:

1 cup graham cracker crumbs

3 tablespoons sugar

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

For the Cheesecake Filling:

24 oz (3 packages) cream cheese, softened

3 large eggs

1 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup sour cream

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

For the Casserole Rolls:

1/2 cup warm water (110°F)

1/4 cup sugar

1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast

1/2 cup warm milk (110°F)

1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 teaspoon salt

1 large egg

4 cups all-purpose flour

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted (for brushing)

★Instructions

Crust Preparation:

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter. Mix until well combined.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Bake for 10 minutes, then set aside to cool.

Cheesecake Filling:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
  2. Gradually add in the sugar and beat until well combined.
  3. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  4. Mix in the vanilla extract, sour cream, and flour until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  5. Pour the cheesecake batter over the cooled crust in the springform pan.
  6. Bake at 325°F (163°C) for 55-60 minutes, or until the center is set and the edges are slightly golden.
  7. Turn off the oven, crack the oven door, and let the cheesecake cool in the oven for about an hour.
  8. Remove the cheesecake from the oven and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

  1. In a large bowl, combine the warm water, warm milk, and sugar. Sprinkle the yeast over the mixture and let it sit for about 5 minutes until it becomes frothy.
  2. Add the melted butter, salt, and egg to the yeast mixture and mix until well combined.
  3. Gradually add the flour, one cup at a time, mixing until a dough forms. The dough should be soft but not sticky.
  4. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
