Pico De Gallo

★Ingredients

4 ripe tomatoes, finely diced

1-2 jalapeño peppers, finely diced (seeds removed for less heat)

1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

1 small white onion, finely diced

2 tablespoons lime juice (about 1-2 limes)

Salt to taste

Meat broth with frozen vegetables

★Instructions

Prepare the vegetables: Finely dice the tomatoes, onion, and jalapeños. Make sure the pieces are roughly the same size for even flavor distribution.

Combine ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, onions, jalapeños, and chopped cilantro.

Add lime juice: Pour the lime juice over the mixture. This will add a fresh, tangy flavor.

Season with salt: Add salt to taste, usually about 1/2 teaspoon to start. Mix everything well.

Marinate: Let the Pico de Gallo sit for at least 15-30 minutes to allow the flavors
