Simple Dessert with Pineapples

★Ingredients

1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple in juice, undrained

1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix

1 tub (8 oz) whipped topping, thawed

1/2 cup shredded coconut (optional)

Maraschino cherries for garnish (optional)

1 package (10 oz) graham crackers, crushed (optional)

Meat broth with frozen vegetables

★Instructions

  1. Mix Pineapple and Pudding:
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the undrained crushed pineapple with the instant vanilla pudding mix. Stir until well blended and the pudding mix is dissolved.
  1. Fold in Whipped Topping:
  • Gently fold the thawed whipped topping into the pineapple mixture until it is fully combined and fluffy.
  1. Assemble the Dessert:
  • If you want to add a base layer, spread half of the crushed graham crackers at the bottom of a serving dish or individual cups.
  • Spoon the pineapple mixture over the graham cracker base or directly into the serving dish/cups.
  • Sprinkle the remaining crushed graham crackers on top if you used them for the base.
  1. Optional Toppings:
  • For added texture and flavor, sprinkle shredded coconut on top of the dessert.
  • Garnish with maraschino cherries for a pop of color.
  1. Chill:
  • Refrigerate the dessert for at least 1 hour before serving to allow it to set and the flavors to meld.

Serving:

  • Serve chilled as a refreshing and light dessert.
