Chocolate Layered Dessert with Creamy Filling and Chocolate Shavings

★Ingredients

Crust:

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup butter, melted

1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Cream Cheese Layer:

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup whipped topping (such as Cool Whip)

1 cup powdered sugar

Chocolate Pudding Layer:

2 (3.9 oz) packages instant chocolate pudding mix

3 cups cold milk

Whipped Topping:

  • 2 cups whipped topping (such as Cool Whip)

Garnish:

  • Chocolate shavings or curls

  1. Prepare the Crust:
  2. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  3. In a medium bowl, combine the flour, melted butter, and chopped pecans. Mix until well combined.

  5. Bake for about 15 minutes, or until lightly golden. Let it cool completely.
  6. Cream Cheese Layer:
  7. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  8. Add the powdered sugar and mix until well combined.
  9. Fold in 1 cup of whipped topping until smooth.

  13. Spread the pudding mixture over the cream cheese layer.
  14. Top Layer:
  15. Spread the remaining 2 cups of whipped topping over the pudding layer.
