Two-ingredient, creamy dessert

★Ingredients

200 grams of dark chocolate (at least 70% cocoa)

200 ml of heavy cream (chilled)

Donuts recipe

Pork chops with honey garlic

★Instructions

  1. Melt the Chocolate:

Break the chocolate into small pieces and melt it gently. You can do this by using a microwave (in 30-second bursts, stirring in between) or a double boiler method (placing a heatproof bowl over a pot of simmering water, making sure the bottom of the bowl doesn’t touch the water).

  1. Whip the Cream:
  • While the chocolate is melting, whip the chilled heavy cream until it forms soft peaks. Be careful not to overwhip the cream as it can turn into butter.
  1. Combine:
  • Allow the melted chocolate to cool slightly but ensure it remains liquid.
  • Gently fold a small portion of the whipped cream into the melted chocolate to lighten it. Then, gradually fold in the remaining whipped cream until fully incorporated. Be gentle to keep the mixture airy.
  1. Chill and Serve:
  • Spoon the mousse into serving dishes or glasses and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or until set.
  • Serve as is, or with optional toppings like fresh berries, a dollop of whipped cream, or chocolate shavings.

Enjoy!
