For the Cake:
1 1/2 cups (190g) all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, softened
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
2 large eggs

1/2 cup (120ml) whole milk

- 1 1/2 cups (360ml) heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 cup (30g) powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

★Instructions
- Preheat Oven and Prepare Pans:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and flour two 8-inch round cake pans.
- Make the Cake:
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture alternately with the milk, beginning and ending with the flour mixture. Mix until just combined.
- Divide the batter evenly between the prepared pans and smooth the tops.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cakes to cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then turn them out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
- Prepare the Cream Filling:
- In a medium bowl, beat the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form. Set aside.
- Assemble the Cake:
- Once the cakes are completely cool, place one layer on a serving plate. Spread the prepared cream filling evenly over the top.
- Place the second cake layer on top of the filling.
- Make the Frosting:
- In a large bowl, beat the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
- Frost the Cake:
- Spread the whipped cream frosting over the top and sides of the assembled cake.
- Decorate:
- Decorate as desired with fresh fruits, chocolate shavings, or any preferred toppings.
- Chill and Serve:
- Chill the cake in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld and the frosting to set.
