Easy Air Fryer Cheesy Egg Rolls

★Ingredients

1 package of egg roll wrappers

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or your preferred cheese)

1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon (optional)

2 green onions, chopped

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Cooking spray or a small bowl of vegetable oil

★Instructions

  1. Prepare the Filling:
  • In a medium bowl, combine the shredded cheese, cooked bacon (if using), green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  1. Assemble the Egg Rolls:
  • Lay an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface with one corner pointing towards you (like a diamond shape).
  • Place about 2 tablespoons of the cheese mixture in the center of the wrapper.
  • Fold the bottom corner over the filling, then fold in the sides, and roll up tightly. Use a bit of water to seal the top corner.
  1. Preheat the Air Fryer:
  • Preheat your air fryer to 370°F (190°C) for about 3 minutes.
  1. Cook the Egg Rolls:
  • Lightly spray the egg rolls with cooking spray or brush them with a little vegetable oil. This helps them get crispy.
  • Place the egg rolls in the air fryer basket in a single layer, leaving space between each roll. You may need to cook them in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
  • Air fry the egg rolls at 370°F (190°C) for 8-10 minutes, turning them halfway through the cooking time, until they are golden brown and crispy.
  1. Serve:
  • Remove the egg rolls from the air fryer and let them cool slightly before serving.
  • Serve them hot with your favorite dipping sauce, such as ranch, marinara, or sweet chili sauce.
