Crispy air fryer recipe

★Ingredients

2-3 large potatoes (Russet potatoes work best)

Salt, to taste

1-2 tablespoons of olive oil

Optional: additional seasonings (paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, etc.)

★Instructions

  • Wash and peel the potatoes if desired.
  • Cut the potatoes into evenly sized sticks or wedges, about 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick.

In a large bowl, toss the dried potato sticks with olive oil, making sure they are evenly coated.

Add salt and any other desired seasonings and mix well.

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.

Place the potato sticks in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Avoid overcrowding to ensure they cook evenly.

Cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket or turning the fries halfway through the cooking time to ensure even cooking.

If necessary, cook in batches to avoid overcrowding.

Check the fries after 15 minutes. They should be golden brown and crispy. If they need more time, continue cooking for an additional 5-10 minutes, checking every few minutes to avoid burning.

Once done, remove the fries from the air fryer and season with additional salt if needed.

Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauces.
