Rich chocolate mud cake

★Ingredients

200 grams dark chocolate

2 eggs

150 grams unsalted butter

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup granulated sugar

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 cup cocoa powder

Marshmallows for topping (optional)

1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

★Instructions

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.

Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a microwave-safe bowl or over a double boiler until smooth. Allow it to cool slightly.

In a separate bowl, beat the eggs, sugar, and vanilla extract until well combined.

Gradually add the melted chocolate mixture to the egg mixture, stirring until smooth.

Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt, and mix until just combined. Fold in the chopped nuts if using.
