Delicious cherry pies

★Ingredients

1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

1 can crescent roll dough

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)

1/4 cup granulated sugar

Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream, for serving

★Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a small bowl, toss the sliced strawberries with the granulated sugar and cinnamon (if using) until well coated.

Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.

Place a few slices of sugared strawberries at the wide end of each triangle.

Roll up the dough, enclosing the strawberries, starting from the wide end and tucking in the sides as you go.

Place the filled crescent rolls on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the dumplings are golden brown and the strawberries are bubbly.

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
